Official Season 2 Merlin Trailer (via spookslucas)

So here’s what I’ve been up to for most of the year. This trailer barely scratches the surface, and I do believe that the second season will really build Merlin’s audience worldwide. If you’re out there producers and directors, watch it, then gimme some feature films!

Some Sundays it’s nice to fritter around with the guitar and slowly but surely get a little better. This is the beginning of a longer track using DADGAD tuning. Nice open chord sounds but my timing is a little off thanks to not being used to playing over headphones much.

A large, white balloon bounces down the street in the failing evening light.

Paris for one

This evening, I’m spending in Paris, since I live so close by while shooting in Picardie, it seemed crazy not to.

But Paris is far better shared. I had a nice day riding around on Vélib, walking the streets, but come evening I think settling down to a meal and good conversation would be ideal.

On the other hand though, Paris has a few insights to offer. Firstly, the women of Paris are like jewels, with a grace and style much appreciated. Secondly, if I could understand fluently the musical snippets of French that pass me by constantly, which add to the romance of the place, would Paris suddenly become more mundane?

Perhaps hearing someone moan would seems less pleasing when no longer a series of lilting French ver, zuzh, eh, urrs.
